I love watches! The cleaner and more minimal the better.
I created this site as some design and development practice one weekend after coming up with the idea of keeping a record of the watches I own throughout my life to see how my tastes in style and design change over my lifetime.
It’s always important to find time to work on your own side projects, ones where you don’t have a deadline or any requirements to meet. This allows you to explore new styles, layouts and ways of doing things that don’t come up in real world projects often.
I’ve always loved watches, especially minimal ones. Watches are one of the last analogue sort of things we use in our everyday lives. I put this site together one weekend as some design and development practice after coming up with the idea of keeping a personal record of the watches I own throughout my lifetime. I figured it would be interesting to see how my tastes in style and design change over the years. It’s a nice simple and minimalistic site that goes well with my taste in watches and is easy to keep updated.

The website consists of a fullscreen animated hero section that took more hours than I care to admit to get working.
Below that is a minimalistic timeline keeping all focus on the watches.
Clicking on the watches will open up a modal with info about each watch written by the company that makes them.
I’m really happy I took the time to build this little side passion project. This site helps to keep me focused on the beauty of simplicity, and that some times less really is more.
